I've just finished another of you Macmillan readers with the teenaged twins I teach and I asked them what sort of thing they'd like to do next. They don't usually agree on anything but they both said straight away that they'd like another story like Owl Hall. As, like most teenagers, enthusiasm isn't their greatest quality, this was a huge compliment!
What they especially liked was that it's like an audio play rather than a book being read, and that it's about characters of their own age. They also really liked the ghostly theme and the surprise twist. It encouraged lots of discussion.
Please can we have some more like this!
